Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital conducts regular health camps in and outside Chennai. The health camps are focused on community welfare and some cases are even routed to the closest hospital or KKCTH itself.
KKCTH doctors team also routinely makes visits to various schools to conduct health check ups and annual assessments.
Mahaswami Rural Telemedicine Project
KKCTH has always been a forerunner in introducing latest technological developments in healthcare. On 20th of February 2009 his Holiness Jagadguru Sri Jayendra Saraswati launched this program. The idea of the program is to take the medical facilities to the children in rural areas who are unable to travel or afford costly medical consultations.
Under this scheme, a team from KKCTH regularly visits underserved villages in and around Kanchipuram District to provide Pediatric healthcare. Medicines are dispensed free of cost and those who need specialized consultation or admission are referred to the main Hospital, where they are treated free.
