Department of Pediatric Infectious diseases
Infectious diseases are very common in developing world like India and it therefore there is urgent need for speciality focusing on the management of infectious disease. The department provides the following services:
- Cross referrals across other specialities (general Pediatrics, allied specialties & intensive care) for difficult to manage infectious disease cases
- Follow up of chronic, complicated and rare infectious disease cases
- Primary Immuno deficiency clinic
- Testing for various infectious diseases in association with department of microbiology
